I am trying to use the sum plus button in conjunction with polar to rectangular function to run a traverse of bearings and distances and at the end of the traverse calculate a missing bearing and distance from the start point to last point. In older models of HP calculators it was possible to use the sum plus button and the polar to rectangular function. The sum of the coordinates in the traverse was stored in the statistical registers x and y. It was then possible to calculate a join between the coordinates to obtain a missing bearing and distance by using rectangular to polar function. Is this possible on a HP 35s?
