I would definitely help you in fixing this issue. Cannon BJC-85 printer/scanner seems to have driver only for Windows XP. I would suggest you to install the driver in compatibility mode and then check how it works.

Download the driver for Windows XP from manufacturer’s website and save it on your desktop. Right click on the driver setup file and select “Properties”. Select “Compatibility” Tab. Place a check mark next to 'Run this program in Compatibility mode” and select previous version of Windows supported by the driver, from the drop down list.

Then click on “Apply” and “Ok” option. Then install the driver.
